Amazing full Scottish breakfast, set us up for a road trip day. Hubby, who loves black pudding, was really impressed with this and how it was cooked. Good quality, tasty ingredients, and plenty of it. You are allowed to adapt or add items. Proper ground coffee and a good pot of tea. Nice selection of cakes that seem popular with locals. Outstanding welcome from a really lovely lady, whose name we unfortunately didn't think to ask. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was very knowledgeable about the area, far and wide. Perfect place for a refuel along the route.

A GREAT stop for a nice warm breakfast. I stayed at the Inver campground overnight and wanted a good morning tea and something hearty in addition to my daily scone lol. Good English breakfast and 2 scones for takeaway. Lovely ladies working here. If I’m on the ‘500’ again, I’ll definitely be back.

I've never experienced such friendly service. The staff were always smiling and were so helpful. The cafe is so clean. The food was lovely. The lovely lady Jill gave me a number for a mechanic as I really needed one. The mechanic sorted my car then and there. He was so lovely too. My whole experience of Lybster was just lovely. Never met such friendly people. Thank you.

The loveliest little cafe. We stopped here randomly in the hope of grabbing a hot beverage, and ended up having the most pleasant of lunches. Home made freshly cooked fare, very kind staff, a delight.

So on the day me and my brother visited we were two very wet and disheveled bikers . We were met by the loveliest front of house person you will ever meet . She was genuinely attentive to everyone, and not just the locals but us both too. With no complaint about our dripping wet suits and boots. (Not going to lie I did fall in love instantly ( well in three minutes but who's counting lol ). And Not just with her, but the cafe and locals in there at the time too. it was a lovely local meeting place, everyone seemed to know each other well. and all were so friendly, so much so that you instantly felt like you were a local too. . The food was without a dought the best value, and tasting fried breakfast we had on the whole trip.( Compliments again to the chef it wasn't beaten, not even by our premier in breakfast) I Would of loved to of been a local. so I could enjoy that feeling, and meal every morning. Truly Wonderful service, and a true joy to eat there . Thank you for making my day on the second wettest day of our trip. ( photo of the local light house from that day included. it was taken in the only five minutes of that whole day that it wasn't raining lol. It's Not framed the best because I was so close to... Well lets just say I had crossed legs and was dancing around like an Irish tap dancer, saying no no no all the time it took to get off my bike and take it . lol but this was the whole reason for the visit. so I had to get it .) Was a fun day made all the more memorable by the little visit to the village cafe and takeaway . Thank you . A truly awesome place to eat.
